Thank you!
I need to send out an enormous thank you to Cynthia at Cygknit. At the end of April I won her blog contest and she went to Connecticut Sheep and Wool festival and picked out a prize for me!!
It arrived yesterday and it is wonderful.
It starts with a pretty skein of sport weight sock yarn from The Painted Sheep in the Birch Mountain color.
Look at these rich colors. I have a skein in the shop called "mountain majesty" that Chris named which is purple and blue. Since this was Birch Mountain. I decided that for some reason blue and purple must be associated with mountains. Chris had to clarify that in the national anthem it says "purple mountains majesty." I contend that there was no way I could possibly have associated these two things... Oops...off topic. Back to pretty yarn...
The next thing I pulled out of the package were some very cool note cards. Sweaters in three colors. I often send little notes to people so these will definitely come in handy.
Some cute sheep magnets. I have the perfect spot for these at in my office!
Finally this really cute keychain that every knitter needs!
Thank you so much Cynthia! This is a really awesome prize!

What a great package! I *love* the notecards, they're awesome! And you've got some nice yarn, too. I like Kris' stuff - actually, I was winding a skein of her Painted Socks no later than a few minutes ago, and I thought it was so soft! The Birch Mountain colourway is really pretty (says the girl who couldn't resist a bundle of roving in that very same colourway! :)
That's quite the haul, those note cards are fab. I wouldn't associate the mountain thing either but it might have something to do with being Canadian.
I'm Canadian and I always used to argue that mountains were blue. My American friends argued they were purple. My mountain on my blog is definitely blue, for any Americans that still want to argue with me. I have seen purple mountains in Utah though...
Love the goods, so jealous.
That is some be-you-tee-ful stuff you got there.
Wow, you got some FANTASTIC goodies! Good for you, Bea.
What a great lot of loot! The yarn is particularly lovely; I can't wait to see what you knit with it :)
Wow! What a great package. The colors in the yarns are just beautiful!
Congratulations.
What a great prize! Lucky you!
Cool Goodies!
