Out in the backyard

No matter how many rows I knit the scarf pretty much looks the same because its all jumbled up on a not quite long enough cord. Not surprising since I don't have a 60" cord, but also not so great for blog fodder. So we had a little adventure in the backyard this evening.

First things first we had to check under the fence. One of Abby's favorite spots.

I promised Abby that her butt would make it on the blog. I don't think she believed me.

Then we searched along the back part of the yard near the trees and found this beauty.

We found some clover.

Then to Gus and Abby's surprise, Gus found a bone from something (still meaty too), I threw it over the fence, but by then the search for more was on.

Gus thinks he's found something.

Just mushrooms. Not so exciting.

I liked them though.

Maybe tomorrow my knitting will look more like a scarf.
