Bedtime
Its my bedtime and I just realized I hadn't posted anything to the blog yet. So here is a throwback.
Worshiping the heat. Abby at 6 months old, just before we moved house. Abby isn't alone in her adoration though.

Comfortable...i can imagine that the animals love the warmth coming from the fireplace.
There's something about a warm fireplace that seems to make nap time any time for dogs, cats, or even us humans.

I think we had our last reasonable morning till September (that would be low humidity and sub-60). So that fire made me do a double take.
Maybe I should just drink more coffee...
Awwww. I'm glad you said it was a throwback... as I was a little surprised to see a roaring fire on June 1st. What a cutie-patootie.

That picture of Abby is priceless! And how convenient that her doggy bed was right in front of the fireplace.
Great picture! Kia used to sit and stare at the fire for so long that her eyes would dry out, so she'd frantically paw at them until they watered again, and then go back to staring :)
I love the kicked-back legs on Abby. That's TOTAL relaxation.
She is just like Pasiely! I don't miss the snow but I do miss the nice warm fire.
