Finishing a relaxing weekend

Tomorrow things return to normal around here. I'm going back to work tomorrow. The only thing that I'm worried about there is that my stomach is still bloated and I'm wondering how my dress pants fit. My jeans are looser then the pants. We'll see I guess. I have to go grocery shopping tomorrow and think about laundry and all the normal household stuff. Its been a nice (well as best it can be) break.

Today we just hung out. I knit a LOT. I read a LOT. I played fetch a LOT. I enjoyed myself a lot. I think that really sums up our weekend actually. Tomorrow I plan to talk about a quilt and then we'll get back to the knitting thing.

I am so behind on blogs, I'm sorry I haven't commented earlier. A tip for your pants from a pregnant woman: loop a rubber band over the button, thread it through the button hole, then loop it back over the button. It will keep your pants up but give you a smidge extra breathing room. Good luck!

Sorry I haven't been by earlier. It's been a big 12 months for you with medical stuff with your family! Your gall bladder can now give you no more problems than your appendix. Hooray!
It sounds like you have had some nice relaxing days, which must help some cos you seem to always be on the go.
I hope you get well/back to your usual self soon!
You've got some lovely shots of your dogs there - they do great pics :-)
(PS I forgot to say happy birthday to Gus weeks ago - I still feel guilty about that!)

Good luck with work today! I know it's sort of cheating but you could always wear a longer top and undo your pants when you're at your desk... a few people I've worked with have done that recently when they were having scar/stomach issues.

Good luck today! Just try whatever works, and don't overdo. I will be thinking of you!

I hope today's gone all right at work! Cygknit's tip on getting a bit of extra in the waistband was one of my favorites when I was pregnant - it definitely works :)

Would your boss be understanding about your dress code b/c of your surgery? Maybe he could let you wear whatever for a few days until your stomach was less bloated?
